Brdr. Rønje Holding A/S' venture investments are performed through the subsidiary, Innoventure A/S, which was established for this purpose in 2000. The company participates actively in the acquired companies with managerial competence and influence.

Innoventure A/S has invested in a portfolio of enterprises within different industries, including pharmaceuticals, materials technology, merchandising, etc.

Innoventure A/S’ investments have been performed in knowledge-based and product innovative enterprises, and the investments performed are based on confidence in management, business concept and the strategy in the individual companies. The company’s typical investment horizon is 3-6 years within the individual enterprises in a rationally functioning market. By the end of 2010, Innoventure A/S has ownership shares in 11 enterprises.

In 2009, the company decided to sell and discontinue the most cash-intensive investments in the portfolio enterprises, and consequently, by the end of 2010 only three active companies remain in the portfolio while the rest are dormant. Innoventure A/S generally does not perform new investments and only supports the existing investments to the extent deemed profitable in the short term and then only with very limited capital.

From the beginning of 2011, the Innoventure companies in total generate positive liquidity.
